Rosie is on the lookout for more little princesses around her Great-Aunt Rosamund's Scottish castle. While she is playing with her brother, Rosie stares up, and sees a girl with blonde hair wearing a medieval gown standing next to a golden dragon. As soon as Rosie says hello to the fairy she is swept away to the kingdom of Tannelaun.
When Rosie finds a silk picture frame decorated with a little princess sitting on an elephant, she is whisked away on another adventure, this time in India. But she can't find the little princess. She meets Suvita, who tells her that she lives with her uncle because her mother & father are dead & that she's definitely not a princess.

Das muss eine kleine Prinzessin sein! Kaum hat Rosie sie begrüßt, wird sie fortgewirbelt ins Königreich Tannelaun, wo sie auf Prinzessin Isaballa trifft. Isabella ist sehr aufgeregt, weil ihr kleiner Drache Cedric dauernd Schluckauf bekommt und alles mit seinem feurigen Atem verbrennt. Die Bewohner von Tannelaun haben genug davon und Isabellas Vater, der König, will Cedric wegschicken. Kann Rosie Isabelle helfen, damit sie Cedric behalten darf?
Rosie gets a postcard from her great-aunt in Africa and she can't wait to look up a map of Kenya. On the shelves of the old castle library however, she finds a carved wooden statue that turns out to be another of the little princesses her great-aunt told her about. Before she knows it, Rosie is off to see Africa for herself.
While she's getting ready for an Egyptian-themed party at her friend's house, Rosie spots a papyrus painting on a wall in Great-aunt Rosamund's castle. It's of a young girl in a beautiful white dress, wearing lots of gold jewellery - it must be another little princess! As soon as she says hello, Rosie is whisked away in a warm breeze.
