Liz Brady

Liz Brady is the author of the Jane Yeats mystery series, set in Toronto. Jane is a true-crime writer, the daughter of a geriatric bimbo who owns a country music bar, a hard-boiled recluse, and an avenging angel with an attitude. She bounds from her desk onto her Harley to hunt down the bad guys. The first in the series won the Arthur Ellis Award for Best First Novel. Brady, with a Ph.D. on Virginia Woolf from University College, London, is convinced that some of the best writing coming out of Canada is penned by its crime writers. After a brief teaching career, she worked in editorial and supports her writing habit as a freelance graphic designer.
