Kenneth B. Clark

    Kenneth Bancroft Clark was a psychologist, educator, and professor at the City College of New York. Working alongside his wife Mamie Phipps Clark, he conducted significant research on children and was an active participant in the Civil Rights Movement. Together, they established the Northside Center for Child Development in Harlem and the organization Harlem Youth Opportunities Unlimited (HARYOU). His work profoundly influenced the fields of psychology and civil rights.
