Jan Nowee Book order

Jan Nowee, a Dutch author, began writing his popular Arendsoog series in 1935. Driven by a desire to provide suitable adventure stories for young readers, he observed a significant demand for books that he found inappropriate. Drawing inspiration from his library volunteer work, Nowee aimed to fill this literary gap with engaging narratives. His work, initially met with apprehension by his publisher due to its adventurous content, ultimately found a home with another publisher who recognized its potential. Though he passed away before completing all his stories, his literary legacy continued through his son.
