Mohamed A. El-Erian

Dr. Mohamed A. El-Erian serves as CEO and co-CIO of PIMCO, a global investment management firm managing approximately US$1.2 trillion in assets as of year-end 2010. In his role as CEO, El-Erian is responsible for the firm's strategic direction and global operations. As co-CIO, he co-oversees investment policies and strategies for all of the company's portfolio management activities. He is also a lead portfolio manager focusing on global tactical asset allocation strategies.
