Dave Cockrum

David Emmett Cockrum was an American comic book artist, celebrated as the co-creator of iconic X-Men characters like Nightcrawler, Storm, and Colossus. Beyond his character creations, Cockrum was a remarkably inventive costume designer. He significantly updated the visual identities of the Legion of Super-Heroes and introduced fresh designs for the X-Men and their adversaries during the 1970s and early 1980s.
