Dieter Wollny was appearing on the television show Die Wollnys - An Awfully Big Family. He wanted to exclude the youngest children from it so they wouldn't be shown on TV - unfortunately, he didn't. For several years, he litigated his ex-wife, Silvia Wollny, who was trying to damage Wollny's reputation. He now lives with his fiancée, 18 years his junior.
