The story of a raindrop called Pauly explains the water cycle - from the cloud to the earth and from the earth to the cloud - in a way suitable even for very young children. Pauly the Raindrop jumps off his cloud to see what it looks like under the surface. Down there it is way too dark for him though, so he travels through the roots of a tree into it's trunk and it's branches right up into the leafs from which he floats back up to his cloud. Pauly is journeying in a very special cloud. Willi, the raindrop, told him that the cloud is special. But no matter how often Pauly asks, Willie won’t tell him exactly what that means. All Paulie gets to know is, that Willie wants to show him the polar bears. On their way to the arctic Paulie discovers the actual surprise. He is going to turn into an ice crystal for the very first time. Paulis discovers a lot of animlas on his search for the polar bear. Illustrated with many Pictures.
