It identifies four critical success factors present in American venture capital that are lacking in China: substantial independent funding, effective incentive mechanisms, efficient exit strategies, and a high tolerance for risk. The author argues that these deficiencies are closely tied to the corporate governance issues within state-controlled listed companies, offering a comprehensive analysis of the challenges faced by Chinese venture capital.

Die Studie basiert auf einem umfangreichen Datenkorpus von 80 gefilmten und transkribierten Rollenspielen, um tiefere Einblicke in die sprachlichen und kulturellen Herausforderungen zu gewinnen, mit denen die Lernenden konfrontiert sind.
