Kate Locke Series
Kate Locke has always enjoyed making things up, a trait that often got her into trouble as a child but by which she now enjoys making a living. Before writing fiction full-time, she worked as a cook, a journalist, and in a photo-finishing lab. In her late twenties, Kate sold her first book and enjoyed a decade writing under a different name. Her enduring love for fantasy and the paranormal eventually inspired her to craft a story purely for her own enjoyment, which became God Save the Queen. Her agent believed in its potential, and shortly after a significant surgery, Kate received an offer from her dream publisher, Orbit Books, marking the exciting beginning of her career in this genre. Like the heroine in her novel, Kate values loved ones above all else and possesses hair of an unnatural hue, a choice she attributes to dye. She is married to a supportive partner who embraces her creative spirit and treats her with immense affection.
