Christine Merrill discovered her lifelong dream of becoming an author was temporarily hindered by her inability to touch type. After years spent exploring various professions, including work in theatrical costume shops and wig styling, the advent of word processing and spell check reignited her passion for writing. Winning the Golden Heart Competition for unpublished manuscripts opened the door to her publishing career. She is now a prolific author, often indulging in a touch of envy that her manuscripts travel to England while she remains home in Wisconsin.
