This author grew up in London near Richmond Park, a vast park where they became acquainted with many animals that later appeared in their stories. Their early work focused on poetry, enjoying the sound and rhythm of words. After having children, the author began writing stories for picture books, often featuring a diverse cast of creatures, from rabbits and bears to dragons and foxes. The author enjoys collaborating with illustrators, and their works have been translated into many languages.
