Justin

Justin Martyr was a preeminent Christian apologist of the 2nd century, recognized as the foremost interpreter of the Logos theory. His surviving works, particularly his Apology, passionately defended the moral integrity of the Christian life and presented ethical and philosophical arguments to end persecution. He put forth the theologically innovative notion that the "seeds of Christianity" predated Christ's incarnation, thereby connecting early Christianity with classical philosophy by asserting that ancient thinkers were unwitting Christians.

      Griechisch - Deutsch
