Jo Goodman Biography

From a young age, this author has been drawn to storytelling, starting with illustrated family sagas and dramatic tales of unexpected twists. After pursuing studies in biology and chemistry, and working with adolescents and families as a therapist, her writing now draws on a profound understanding of human relationships. Her literary path took an unexpected turn towards adult fiction, despite her parents' hopes she would focus on children's books. Her work with youth and mental health often complements her writing, with one grounding her in reality and the other offering an escape from it.
