When Sela's sister is found dead in her upscale San Francisco apartment, everyone is shocked at the suicide note found at the scene. Sela hires a private investigator, and they quickly find out it was no suicide. In fact, Sela's fiancé of two years could be involved in the murder. As the investigation widens, Sela realizes she is living a nightmare. She is forced to marry Matt, even though she doesn't love him, and she knows he is having an affair.
