Binbir Gece Masalları, sadece insanların düşgücünü ateşlemekle kalmadı; bilinen en eski örneğini oluşturduğu "çerçeve öykü" tekniğiyle de, hem geçmişte hem de günümüzde, dünya edebiyatını en çok etkileyen kitapların başındaki yerini korudu. Alim Şerif Onaran (1921-2000), Binbir Gece Masalları'nı ilk kez tam metin halinde dilimize kazandırdı. Orhan Pamuk, gözden geçirilmiş bu yeni basım için bir sunuş yazdı. In the third installment in Anonymous's popular series which began with The Book with No Name and continued with The Eye of the Moon , the Bourbon Kid returns for more vengeance, this time on the contestants of a television talent contest   The Devil’s Graveyard is an area of desert. La novel·la cavalleresca Curial i Güelfa és, sens dubte, una de les obres més fascinants de la nostra literatura. Va ser escrita a mitjan segle xv per un autor anònim del nostre domini lingüístic. La trama de l’obra es desenvolupa en un ambient noble i la intenció del seu autor és «recitar quant costà a un gentil cavaller i a una noble dama l’amar-se l’un a l’altre...». Fidel a aquesta declaració, l’anònim autor ens narra una apassionant història d’amor on els personatges viuen molt intensament els seus sentiments: gelosia, enveja, desig... Al mateix temps, però, va molt més enllà i ens conta també les aventures d’armes i l’ascensió social del jove Curial, protagonista de la novel·la, i ens endinsa en el món de l’edat mitjana, una època en què hi havia cavallers reals que intentaven imitar els herois de les novel·les.
