Naomi King

Naomi King, also known as Charlotte Hubbard, draws upon her experiences within the largest Old Order Amish community west of the Mississippi. Her writing focuses on simpler times and a faith-based lifestyle, evident in her Seasons of the Heart series. Mirroring her heroine Miriam Lantz, King sees it as her personal mission to nourish people and share hearth and home. Her work is characterized by an emphasis on faith, family, farming, and food preservation, which form the bedrock of her life and her earlier Angels of Mercy series. Beyond writing, she is active in music, cooking, crocheting, and sewing.
