March 25, 18:30: Automatic alarm on every mobile phone in New Zealand. "NATIONAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY ALERT...". The Corona-Lockdown also starts for Sven Neuland and Wei Ling. What are the goals, what measures are taken, can the virus be defeated? This diary describes how Corona takes possession of everyday life as a constant companion. A fragment of a period of dramatic upheaval of unknown duration. A dialogue with the devil... Even before their departure, Corona was part of life in many countries. The planning of their journey was already directly affected by the virus. On their arrival, Corona was not a real issue for the Kiwis. That's why the first three weeks of the diary focus on their travel experiences. This makes things all the more sudden. The New Zealand government's decisions are based on a master plan, the rapid implementation of which becomes a very narrow framework for freedom of movement in the country for thousands of foreigners.
