Fridays are different. Během internace v Terezíně si čtyřiadvacetiletá Hana psala - ve formě dopisů - deník, který před další deportací ukryla a v červnu 1945 v jednom ze sklepů terezínské pevnosti našla. Deník, původně nazvaný „Snové a skutečné“, se stal základem knížky, kterou se Posseltová rozhodla po smrti své matky napsat. Autorčiny vzpomínky na strastiplný život v koncentračních táborech se zcela vymykají literatuře tohoto druhu. Sugestivní dramatické výjevy jakoby neskutečného divadla, autorčiným básnickým a filosofickým zřením poznané a hluboce procítěné, jsou bohužel krutě pravdivé.

Psychologicky laděný román je založený na skutečné události, na katastrofě v Palomares v roce 1966, kde došlo při tankování ke kolizi bombardéru B-52 s tankovacím letadlem K-135 a následnému odhození 4 jaderných bomb na pobřeží, dvě byly dopadem poškozeny a došlo ke kontaminaci okolí...
Dosud nejlepší dílo mladého mexického spisovatele, jenž zaujímá významné místo v kulturním i politickém životě země. V románě, který vyšel v r. 1962 a vyvolal světový ohlas, vylíčil životní příběh Mexičana, jenž se dík svým osobním schopnostem i obratnému využívání situace, mj. i mexické sociální revoluce let 1910–1920, domohl obrovského bohatství a moci.
