Turan Dursun Books

Turan Dursun was a Turkish Islamic scholar and writer whose work sharply criticized Islam and its founders. After serving as a religious official, he became an atheist during his study of the history of monotheistic religions. Dursun authored numerous books offering his interpretations of Islamic texts, becoming an outspoken critic of religion who faced frequent threats from fundamentalists. His assassination in 1990 led to widespread sales of his works in Turkey.
