Błażyński Zbigniew Books
Zbigniew Błażyński was a Polish émigré journalist and radio editor. After his early career in diplomacy, he transitioned to journalism, gaining prominence for his work with Radio Free Europe in the 1950s. There, he conducted groundbreaking interviews with Józef Światło, a defector from the Polish secret police, which exposed the inner workings of the communist regime and were broadcast and distributed as a pamphlet. He later became a key figure at the BBC's Polish Service in London, serving as a journalist and director, focusing on broadcasts about the communist world and Poland. Post-retirement, he remained active in cultural and publishing endeavors within London's Polish community, notably authoring an extensive book based on the Światło interviews.
