Amber Fossey is an NHS doctor-turned-artist whose work is celebrated on the popular Instagram account and Etsy store, Zeppelinmoon. As an expert in mental health, her uplifting and wickedly funny illustrated stories of strange and wonderful creatures draw inspiration from her experiences with the dark and glorious facets of the human spirit and a fascination with animals. Throughout a twelve-year career in psychiatry, she encountered the grey areas of sanity and developed a deep-rooted compassion for those society rejects, mistreats, and ignores, as well as those suffering mental anguish. Her art champions the unloved, the feared, and the endangered, driven by a belief that all souls, human and animal, deserve love and equal treatment.
