Ahmad ibn Muhammad Ibn ʻAta' Allah al-Iskandari was a pivotal figure in systematizing the Shadhili Sufi order. His writings, particularly his collections of aphorisms and treatise on dhikr, not only solidified the order's doctrines but also greatly contributed to its popularity and expansion. Through his works, he laid the groundwork for the spread of Shadhili teachings across North Africa, inspiring the emergence of other Sufi orders. His literary legacy continues to shape Sufi thought.
