Adam Stefan "Albert" Chmielowski was a Polish Armenian priest and co-founder of the St. Brother Albert Foundation, which aids disabled and intellectually challenged individuals. During the Polish People's Republic, he was subjected to severe beatings by the Security Service on two occasions. His book, "Clergy and the Security Service on the Example of the Cracow Archdiocese," is the result of extensive research and sparked considerable controversy and discussion. He also celebrates Masses within the Armenian Catholic Church liturgy.
