Hiroshige was a master of Japanese woodblock printing and one of the last great artists of the Ukiyo-e school. His works, often depicting famous scenery and well-known views, are celebrated for their lyricism and poetry. Hiroshige possessed a remarkable ability to capture the beauty and transience of a moment with a keen sense for detail and composition. His influence on Western artists, particularly the Impressionists, was significant, and his landscapes continue to inspire with their subtle sensitivity and visual power.
