I am a creator of comics, prints, illustrations, and graphic novels, all bursting with magical moments and vivid imagery. Inspired by Winsor McCay’s ‘Little Nemo’ and ‘Alice in Wonderland’, my elaborately twisted tales of surreal worlds are hauntingly inhabited by outlandish creations. After a successful career as a jazz tap dancer, singer, and choreographer, I re-opened my inkpots and created an abundance of stories full of magic, surreal dream scenes, and fairy tale themes.

Federico García Lorca is one of Spain’s foremost cultural and literary figures. In 1927, he published his masterpiece Canciones, a volume of lyrical poetry. Tobias Tak transformed twenty of these poems into a series of richly detailed and inventive comics.
