"Australia's Unique Wildlife" is a visual celebration of some of the countries most unusual and spectacular inhabitants. Australia's isolation has allowed a fascinating array of unique animals to develop and prosper. The marsupials - Kangaroos, Koalas, Wombats, Echidnas, Possums, Tasmanian Devils, Bandicoots and Quokkas - for which the country is renowned and can be found nowhere else. Similarly, birds such as the Cockatoo, Galah, Kookaburra, and Emu are recognizable Australian icons. And beyond the Australian coast, in its turquoise blue waters, lies the last frontier for the discovery of Australian wildlife. Whale Sharks, Sea Dragons, and brilliant multi-colored tropical fish and corals are all important and incredibly well recognized members of Australia's native fauna.
