Tagung der UN-Generalversammlung in New York brachte der indonesische Außenminister die Besorgnis Indonesiens über die Lage des palästinensischen Volkes im israelisch-palästinensischen Konflikt zum Ausdruck. In dieser Rede wurde auch betont, dass Indonesien die Unterstützung des palästinensischen Volkes bei der Erlangung seiner Unabhängigkeit nicht einstellen werde. Während des Konflikts haben beide Parteien die Menschenrechte verletzt, insbesondere das Recht auf ein Leben in Sicherheit und andere Rechte.
