    • Goodbye, MrChips James Hilton Goodbye, Mr. Chips (originally, Good-bye, Mr. Chips) is a short novel about the life of a schoolteacher, Mr. Chipping, written by the English writer James Hilton, published in the United States in June 1934 by Little, Brown and Company and in the United Kingdom in October of that same year by Hodder & Stoughton. The novel was adapted into two films and two television versions We are delighted to publish this classic book as part of our extensive Classic Library collection. Many of the books in our collection have been out of print for decades, and therefore have not been accessible to the general public.
