Georg Forster Books

Johann Georg Adam Forster was a naturalist, ethnologist, travel writer, journalist, and revolutionary. Early in his career, he accompanied his father on scientific expeditions, including James Cook's second voyage to the Pacific. His report of that journey significantly contributed to the ethnology of Polynesian peoples and remains a respected work. Forster is considered one of the founders of modern scientific travel literature.
