Focusing on the representation of trauma in literature about child soldiers, this examination thesis highlights the growing attention to child soldiering over the past two decades. It explores both fictional and autobiographical works that address the severe mental health issues faced by these children, such as PTSD and personality changes. By analyzing the complex relationship between trauma and its representation, the thesis aims to enhance academic awareness of this critical issue and contribute to the literary discourse surrounding child soldier literature.
