Deník ženy z favely
Nezvyklá a zajímavá kniha, která vyvolala senzaci při svém vydání v Brazílii roku 1960, byla už přeložena do sedmnácti jazyků, zdramatizována a upravena pro televizi. Jsou to vlastně bez zvláštních úprav uspořádané výňatky z deníku prosté černošské ženy z favely, chudinské čtvrti vSan Paulu. Deníkovými zápisy bezprostředních zážitků a dojmů vytvořila otřesný obraz hmotného i duchovního živoření chudiny ve stínu přepychového života velkoměstských boháčů.
