Nick Criddle and his folk-singing partners Hal and Wren were lucky enough to be among the students on Hercules V chosen to accompany Dr. Junius Pomfrey on his expedition to investigate the social development of other planets. Their first stop was the planet Allegra, where they were greeted by cheering mobs of young people eager to hear their songs. The three mixed their songs with plenty of excitement, and as they blasted off to Duros, and then to Invictus, their scientific studies gae way to romance, mayhem and even insurrection.
