The book guides English-speaking readers through locations associated with the jump group Anthropoid, which executed the assassination of Deputy Reich Protector Reinhard Heydrich on May 27, 1942. It explores the jump site, the flats of the parachutists' supporters, and the attack location. The conclusion highlights the Orthodox Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Resslova Street, a significant site of the parachutists' last stand. Divided into three chronological sections, the first describes locations outside Prague where the parachutists operated from their jump in Nehvizdy on December 29, 1941, to their move to Prague. The second section covers their stay in Prague until May 27, 1942. The third focuses on the events of the assassination, the escape and hiding of the attackers, and their final confrontation with German forces in the besieged church. It also discusses Heydrich's death and the subsequent Gestapo hunt and reprisals against supporters and family members of the parachutists. Readers will find photographs of the birthplaces of seven parachutists, memorial plaques, and a list of individuals executed for aiding in the attack's preparation. Locations are marked with street names in Czech and German, along with descriptive and orientation numbers, and are numbered and mapped for easy reference. The text is accompanied by numerous photographs of people, buildings, memorials, and documents.
