Gregory

    Lady Gregory was an Irish dramatist and folklorist instrumental in the flourishing of Irish literature. She co-founded the Irish Literary Theatre and the Abbey Theatre, writing numerous short works for both companies. Her writings frequently drew upon Irish mythology and folklore, preserving and popularizing the island's rich cultural heritage. Gregory's work helped define a distinctive Irish literary voice.
