Frederic G. Kenyon

Sir Frederic George Kenyon was a British paleographer and biblical and classical scholar devoted to the study of ancient languages and biblical texts. His work focused on the New Testament as a historical document, exploring how archaeological findings and Egyptian papyri corroborate the historical veracity of the Gospel accounts. Kenyon was convinced of the historical reality of events described in the New Testament, asserting that his research removed the last doubts regarding the substantial authenticity of the Scriptures as transmitted to us. His profound knowledge and dedication to the study of ancient manuscripts left an indelible mark on biblical paleography and history.
