Mona Kasten Biography
Mona Kasten is an author whose writing stems from a deep passion for storytelling discovered during her studies. Mona Kasten studied library and information management and has been working as a novelist ever since. In June 2018, her novels Save me and Save you were number one and two on the paperback bestseller list. Save me was awarded the Platinum Book of the Main Association of the Austrian Book Trade at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2019. In 2020, the title Dream Again received the Best Romance Novel award at the LovelyBooks Readers' Award and reached number one on the Spiegel bestseller list in the paperback category.
The actors Milena Karas and Michael-Che Koch recorded their novels as audio books. On BookBeat, Kasten landed at number one of the most listened-to authors in 2020 with the settings of her novels. In May 2024, the Save books were released as a series on Prime Video under the title Maxton Hall – The World Between Us. The leading roles are played by Harriet Herbig-Matten as Ruby and Damian Hardung as James.
