Tato MP je určena učitelům, kteří užívají ve výuce učebnici Český jazyk pro 9. ročník ZŠ (E. Hošnová a kol.). Obsahuje řadu námětů a doporučené pro zkvalitnění a zpestření výuky i řešení většiny cvičení. Učebnice je součástí nové řady pro výuku českíého jazyka od 2. do 9. ročníku ZŠ, zpracované plně v souladu se záměry a požadavky RVP základního vzdělávání.

Ucelená čtyřdílná řada učebnic osvědčeného autorského týmu je určena pro výuku na všech typech středních odborných škol. Je zpracována podle učebních osnov pro SOŠ, připravuje již ale také pro nové pojetí maturitní zkoušky. Všechny učebnice mají schvalovací doložku MŠMT ČR.
