Mária Szepes Biography
December 14, 1908 – September 3, 2007
Szepes emerged from a Hungarian family of theatrical stars, dedicating herself to studies in literature, art history, and biology. Her writing delves into esoteric themes, often exploring spiritual relationships and the dissolution of the ego within another, a concept she termed the "alchemistic marriage." While her novel "The Red Lion" achieved global bestseller status in esoteric literature, Szepes herself regarded the two-volume "Raguel" as her principal work.
