Sophia James Biography

Sophia James's reading tastes were shaped by Georgette Heyer novels during her teenage years, spent basking in the sun on her grandmother's porch overlooking a wild west-coast beach. Her writing journey, however, began in Bilbao, Spain, after a wisdom tooth extraction led her to a pile of Mills and Boons. Under the influence of painkillers, she envisioned crafting a romance novel herself. Now, after numerous drafts, she finds fulfillment writing for Harlequin Historical, balancing her passion with art tours to Europe alongside her painter husband.
