Julia Justiss Biography

Julia Justiss's passion for sailors and history is deeply rooted in her childhood spent near the colonial town of Annapolis, Maryland. Even as a twelve-year-old, she was a junior tour guide, immersing visitors in a locale steeped in revolutionary fervor. Her long-standing observation of future naval officers at the United States Naval Academy seemed to foreshadow her eventual marriage to one. Her literary journey, beginning with favorite settings from ancient Egypt to Regency England, evolved from story idea notebooks to poetry and journalism before she fully embraced historical romance. Now residing in East Texas, she finds inspiration in landscapes that evoke classic tales, dedicating herself to the craft of storytelling.
