The author's aim is to find evidence and documentation of the Eastern resistance against the conquests and rule of the Greeks, uncover the reasons for it, and illustrate its manifestations, presenting the outcomes of this resistance to readers. The Eastern regions analyzed in the twelve chapters of the book include Persia and other parts of Iran, Mesopotamia, Syria, Anatolia, Palestine and other Jewish sites, and Egypt.
