The first collection, known as the 'Mackenzie Collection, ' includes thirty-four manuscripts from various parts of India and Nepal, mainly on religious topics. The second collection, known as the 'Lothian Collection, ' consists of sixty-five manuscripts, mostly on Hindu law and ethics.
