Dieses Buch ist der fünfte und letzte Band der Geschichten aus dem Altertum. Es beinhaltet die biblischen Texte des Exodus, des Leviticus, des Buches Numeri und des Deuteronomiums. Auch das Buch Josua ist dabei, weil es einfach dazugehört. Das Buch ist eingeteilt in sechs Teile, im letzten Teil sind die Erklärungen des Autors enthalten. Aber wie es bei Benjamin üblich ist, ist seine Fantasie in die Moses Texte eingeflossen, um dem Leser eine schöne, fliessende Geschichte zu erzählen. In den Erklärungen sind auch die ersten vier Bücher der Geschichten aus dem Altertum erklärt, sodass man den roten Faden finden kann, der durch alle Erzählungen des Pentateuch führt, auch durch die Genesis. Wer also Mühe hat, die Bibel zu lesen, bekommt hier die Texte spielerisch vermittelt und auch gleich erklärt. Wie immer hofft der Autor, dem Leser Freude zu bereiten und in ihm die Liebe zu den hohen Texten der Bibel zu erwecken, so wie sie uns zur Verfügung steht seit nun nahezu dreitausend Jahren.
