John L. Stoddard Books

John Lawson Stoddard was an American author who gained renown for his travelogues, which he also popularized through extensive lecture tours. His writings, often enhanced with his own photography, explored diverse subjects ranging from art and archaeology to natural history. After a period of agnosticism, he converted to Catholicism, authoring a notable work of apologetics on his rediscovered faith. In his later life, he also produced poetry and religious writings.
