Sie bietet Lesestoff für Schüler ab Klasse 5 in insgesamt 6 verschiedenen Schwierigkeitsstufen bis hin zur Klasse 10 (Besprechung für Titel der Klassen 57 vgl. BA 6/08). Die Vokabeln sind auf das Niveau abgestimmt und die Länge der Texte steigert sich von 3.000 bis zu 16.000 Wörtern. Die Themen orientieren sich dabei speziell an den Interessen und Vorlieben dieser Altersgruppen, z.B. Abenteuer, Freundschaft, Mystery, Fantasy, Thriller. Der Aufbau ist einheitlich: Text mit einigen farbigen Illustrationen, es folgen Aufgaben zu den Kapiteln, am Ende ein englischdeutsches Wörterverzeichnis (mit Lautschrift) und Lösungen.
