A collection of letters by an American humorist, known for his drawings and writings, especially "My World - and Welcome To It" and "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty". 37 of his most famous drawings illustrate the letters throughout.

This book is indexed alphabetically, like a dictionary, to make finding the right word as easy as possible. The contents consist entirely of synonyms, without an unnecessary word of explanation. The synonyms are carefully grouped to make shades of meaning clear.
