Janice Maynard discovered her passion for writing early in life, with a third-grade story earning her accolades. Her early narrative efforts, whether for school contests or circulation among peers, showcased a budding talent for storytelling. Despite juggling a full-time career and family life, her desire to write and be published remained strong. In 1996, she achieved her long-held ambition when her first book was purchased by Kensington Publishing, marking the beginning of her full-time writing career.
