Gabriele Amorth

    May 1, 1925 – September 16, 2016

An Italian Roman Catholic priest, he served as the senior exorcist for the Diocese of Rome. He authored two books on exorcism, which marked a significant literary moment as the first public documents to address the subject. His writings, drawing on witness accounts and personal experience, are not official documents but rather personal narratives of his work.
