Further tales include his visit to a hippie commune summer camp - in search of girls and self-enlightenment - and his deep obsession with the video game Hitman. An autobiographical comic describing Mawil's first steps as bassist in a hip-hop school band. This costs him 'blisters on his fingers' but also forces him past his reluctance and reticence to play hip hop and discover music other than his favourites from the 1960's, like the Beatles. Readers get to witness the band thrash their way to competence and watch Mawil eventually move on to playing the music he really loves.

The second book that Mawil is releasing with Blank Slate is a delightful series of cartoons about his super-cute rabbit electrician - he comes to fix things, and boy does he fix them. Chaos, fun and laughter ensue. The book itself is a very neat smaller format edition with some funny jokes, an ongoing story at its heart and some of the loveliest, most natural and vivacious cartooning. Mawil is loved by cartoonists like Scott McCloud and Jay Stephens.
